Toys!

Hubby's toys that I'm allowed to share: Chevrolet, Bass Tracker, and John Deer Gator.
I told Hubby this tool was the best thing he had ever bought for me.  That caused quite the discussion. I have been using this bad boy DeWalt saw.  It does wonders on those bushes that are too big for hand pruners and it sure beats gnawing or sawing the stump off.

Gals like handy dandy easy to use tools too!

I would love one, but frankly, I think I'm about to give up. Rain washing out my new flower gardens. Rain washing out what little rock in the driveway is left. Rain and humidity helping all vegetation (good and bad) to grow before my eyes. Score: Nature 100, Teresa-0.

I never thought of using that as a trimmer. Why not if it works though? Clever.

My favorite section of Home Depot is the tool section! I never thought about using that for bushes, I bet it is so fun!! I like all of your husbands toys and yes, I think I would like them so much too. Have a wonderful 4th Gail!

Indeed. Before Bill became a trucker (2011), he was a salesman for machined parts. Before that, he engineered parts. Many of the parts he created and sold went into hand tools. De Walt was one of his top customers. He won awards for them. He has many, too. Me? No, but I can use them.

Wow ... now those are serious looking toys - and if they help a gal in their work that is just brilliant.

Many thanks for your comment on the low carb diabetic blog ... pleased to hear you have slept better.

Have a lovely weekend

All the best Jan

Oh how I covet your JD Gator....! We want one of those at the farm one of these days. Maybe next year. ;-)

Hmm, you've intrigued me about the DeWalt. I wonder how that would be for quick cutting of small tree branches? We have the mesquites all over and they have low branches. It's such a pain to dig out the chainsaw and get it ready and then it weighs a ton and I've just got small stuff to take care of. I never thought about this. Thank you!
