This was one...there are more.
Ki is smelling under water trying to find one.
No dog saw the baby snake (left).
The Farm Team went into action.
The photographer was too slow to catch the action.
Four did their job.
Good dogs!!!

Wow, they really tore into that snake.
Good morning, oh wow your dogs are a great team. Glad they took care of that snake. Good doggies! Have a happy day and new week ahead!
good dogs.. pat pat pat on the head
Good dogs, bad snake...now a good snake - dead!
I am so glad you have such great snake hunters.
Oh gosh, that's a copperhead! Looks like they are efficient, but I sure would be worried they'd get bit!
They got that one quick! I imagine the baby will be caught eventually. Congratulations, Gail. Have a blessed week!
They earned their keep that day!
teamwork.
HI Gail, Yipes---I am NOT a snake lover AT ALL (even the non-poisonous ones)... They send shivers over me!!!!! SO--I'll say HOORAY for the dogs... What a great team.
Hugs,
Betsy
Rather deficient snake killers. The rats and frogs can feel safe for a while. You may laugh but I had a trio of chihuahuas that could take out a 6 foot black snake with no problem. However, they would just circle the poisonous ones till I could bail them out.
Callie just lets me know one is out there and if it is not poisonous, I will let them go. I have moles and voles that need thinning.
Good Dogs!!!! We could of used your team of dogs the other day inside our Mom's home.
Wow - good work team !
You did well with the photo's too Gail.
All the best Jan
I had a snake encounter this summer...stepped right on it! UGH!
Don't know what kind of a snake that was but oh my those dogs know their business and well that poor snake didn't stand a chance.
