a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Lizzy

thinks she's a big dog.  Actually she is the announcer.  The other dogs sleep as Lizzy keeps watch. She announces if one strange thing enters the valley.  After rousing the pack she runs the sidelines coaching them.

Only one problem...I have a difficult time keeping her groomed.  Poor baby. She goes every where the big dogs go but that's okay.  We all are family.

Here is the tale of her beginning with us.
Lizzy is a good dog.
Lizzy should be a lap dog.
She travels
 with the pack.
and does her job.
Lizzy is happy here and is very brave if anyone looks at her bowl.
Now if I just had time to give her a hair cut...

Of our four, three are quite vociferous 'announcers'. Then there's Abby who is so relaxed she's just this side of comatose.

Lizzy is a lovely girl. =)

Lizzy looks like my two cairn terriers. Adorable and they too think they wear big dog suits!

So cute. My Polly picks up every sticker and weed when she goes into a patch. Once we have the back yard in shape with our fence up, she won't get into so much. I love her longer hair, but you are right...lots harder to keep groomed.

I love Lizzy. Every household should have such a dog to help the bigger dogs do their job!

She's just adorable! I always like seeing her, and she even braved some water the other day as I remember! Funny that you call her the announcer, because we have a 7 pound announcer too, that gets my other two going immediately. The little pups have the loudest call don't they!

Miggs is always alerting us as to whats lurking about . We have to take her to the groomers to keep her very shaggy coat clean and groomed and then I keep her groomed after it is easier for us this way and she is a roller in anything lol ! Lovely photos . Thanks for sharing she is a cutie , Have a good day

The little ones have the bravest hearts. I use to shave Mighty Dog and it always took a while for him to forgive me.
