a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Labeled Number Eighteen...

 and they called her Lizzy.
We stopped by White River on the way home.

Vaccinated, spayed, wormed, declared healthy.
Too leggy for a Cairn but has the heart of one.
Please welcome Lizzy to the farm team,
right now she's cuddling on my lap.

Boy, am I a softy!

She hit the jackpot and so did you. Cairns love to run, play, jump, are very clever, obey (once they recognize the Boss). They love water, snow, hiking - you name it - if you are active, which you are, this dog will tag right along with you and at the same time she will attach herself to those not so healthy. Cairns recognize the health in people and adjust themselves accordingly. They have the biggest hearts of all dogs and devote themselves 100% to your family. You are indeed a lucky girl Gail - Welcome to the Farm Lizzy - Lilly

I knew Lizzie would be lap sitting at the farm. (Middle name could be RETIREMENT.).

I love Lynne's post above, lol

Lizzy is adorable, and I think came into your life at a really good time. You needed her as she needed you. Dogs are smart that way :-) How are your other dogs with Lizzy. I can imagine their a little protective being that Lizzy is small and a female dog.

Welcome to the farm to Lizzie. She is a lucky scruffy mutt. I love cairns, used to work in a shop with for a woman who had two. They were such good company when business got slow and also very good caretakers of the shop. You need a lap dog. Hurrah for the both of you. xoxo OmaLinda

Did you ever see the Movie Lake House with Sandra Bullock? In that movie she has a dog that looks like that. I have always wanted one and I am so glad you went and got her. I have thought about her too. I am so glad she has a good home with you.
She is beautiful.

You are a true lover of dogs and very lucky that you live somewhere that has lots of room for them to play and rough house in. Lizzie sure looks like a cute dog and I think you have done well. There's nothing better than having another dog to cuddle. xox

Good choice for you and very lucky choice for that little dog !!!!
