ooops, forgot to say - passing through town yesterday was a couple of OLDIES on a motorcycle trike with sign on side. Arkansas to Nova Scotia. This couple had great smiles and waved back when I waved. NO, did not have camera but made me think of you all.

Mushrooms can be amazing. I love the delicate lines underneath. Have you ever tried making mushroom spore prints? (http://www.mushroomexpert.com/spore_print.html)
It seems like this fun-guy would have been the perfect specimen for that!

I thought that second photo looked like an umbrella turned inside out from the wind! Nice shots.

Mushrooms! The magical fungi! They appear overnight and disappear just as quickly!

I'll always remember how I used to smash some ugly mushrooms growing on our hill in VA. I found out that year that they were Morels!...:)JP

If memory serves me, the 'shrooms' with the skirt around their stem are the ones to watch out for....geeez, now I have to grab my trusty mushroom book and look that up...

I'm always a little leery of wild mushrooms. I don't know which ones are safe and which aren't.
