acutally i don't think i have seen fungi that were "cute" before. i have taken a few shots ,but the second one here looks like its dancing and the last one looks like they are hugging. so cute is the word
And of course you know which ones of these are edible and which ones would top me off. The orange ones look good. I would fry those up in some butter and garlic. I'm hungry for them now.
With just a little rain, surprises pop up from the ground every where. Fungi is beautiful in the wild. It's a pain in the butt in flower pots, gardens and areas where you don't want it to produce. I love the pictures, it's as if the fungi are alive in the pictures:-)
You have so many different kinds, we just have the same ones. Yours are really quite pretty and I can see a fairy living under them. They just didn't let you get their picture.

Is it just me, or does that first mushroom look like that "leg" lamp from the movie Christmas Story?
Hee hee
The ability for something to grow, so quickly, when the conditions are right always amazes me.
I love the variety of fun-guys you found!
so true.

To me, funghi = fairy land. Tinkerbell could be wandering about there!
I particularly like the white umbrella like mushroom.
We have mushrooms like that first one, too.
Have a wonderful weekend, Gail. ♥
No mushrooms growing around here lately- I think the rain is evaporating as soon as it hits the ground!

We've got them all over the place too with all the rain we've been having!
Nice shrooms.
