Cherry Dream

wearing snow
trees' boughs hung
in the woodlands
with no room
for blooms

memories of
seventy springs
the cherry awakened
promised
Spring will come again

It's cold here in the Hill Country this morning, and even colder tomorrow. My grandkids from the north came here for the warmth! Ha! Glad we missed the storms in Dallas, however, so no complaint.

Nature does her yearly rounds whilst we moan! At least Christmas puts smiles on our faces.

We have snow here and temps in the teens! Trees are sleeping and dreaming of spring!

I think that's the best of the ones I read! Love how you incorporated the seventy to be seventy seasons of spring memories. Love it!! Hope your Christmas was great and stay warm.
