a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Horseless

I headed out with bread and dog food.  They met me.  Neither one of them liked the dog food but the blue haltered guy liked bread.
I was no long a stranger.
Girl came so close
and so did Blue Halter
I walked
They followed closely...yes, that's my hair.
Taking pictures over my shoulder as we walked.
They were happy here
now they have gone home.
I shall miss them but glad they came to visit.

The wind of heaven is that which blows between a horse's ears.  ~Arabian Proverb

Where did these two come from?

I thought you had horses of your own?

They may come again if you feed them.

Hope that means the owner came and claimed them.

Oh I like that quote, and they sure are both beautiful! We had three horses pay us a visit when we first moved here, so I know just how excited you were!

Gail, I hope they have gone "home". But they certainly weren't wild, since they took to you so well. I'll bet you are sorry to see them leave.

This is so poignant. What a sweet time you had with them...and they with you.

Did somebody come and collect them or did they just wander off?

How wonderful to gain their trust to the degree that you did.
I hope they have gone to a good home.
I love your proverb. I used to put that on greeting cards.

Oh Gail ... I've so enjoyed the photo's you've shared on these two posts, and the name 'blue halter' is just perfect.

I wonder if they may come back? Wouldn't it be wonderful if they did.

All the best Jan

Sorry to see them saunter away. Who owned them? How did they escape?
