I was no long a stranger.
Girl came so close
and so did Blue Halter
I walked
They followed closely...yes, that's my hair.
Taking pictures over my shoulder as we walked.
They were happy here
now they have gone home.
I shall miss them but glad they came to visit.

Oh they will come back now:) Hug B
Where did these two come from?
I thought you had horses of your own?
They may come again if you feed them.
Hope that means the owner came and claimed them.
And now you have wonderful photos of them to look back on . I think they will be back for a visit lol ! I do like the blue halter photos ear perfectly forward and such a pretty face ! Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !
they are truly beautiful horses and your photos are fantastic of them. glad they are home but i know you are sad and will miss them
Oh I like that quote, and they sure are both beautiful! We had three horses pay us a visit when we first moved here, so I know just how excited you were!
Gail, I hope they have gone "home". But they certainly weren't wild, since they took to you so well. I'll bet you are sorry to see them leave.
Gone but not soon forgotten. Friends of the heart.
This is so poignant. What a sweet time you had with them...and they with you.
Did somebody come and collect them or did they just wander off?

They do have that special gift of bringing joy, don't they? Glad you got you some horsey time Gail!
Guess they were out for a romp and found the right place to visit! =)
How wonderful to gain their trust to the degree that you did.
I hope they have gone to a good home.
I love your proverb. I used to put that on greeting cards.
*hugs*
Glad they brought a smile to your face for a while. ♥
Oh Gail ... I've so enjoyed the photo's you've shared on these two posts, and the name 'blue halter' is just perfect.
I wonder if they may come back? Wouldn't it be wonderful if they did.
All the best Jan
Horses are wonderful animals...I love them. :)
Sorry to see them saunter away. Who owned them? How did they escape?
It makes me happy to think of these horses wandering your way…a special Christmas gift.
