a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Same Ole, Same Ole

I had some wonderful water pictures. I in my ignorance had been too exuberant in trying new settings.  I 'd set my images to RAW which basically means BIG...big honking big!  When I wanted to use them...well, it was impossible.
I would like to introduce Scottie, Leggings and Socks, my new photo props.  Yes, I know they don't match but I'm cold and far beyond caring if I match when lazing on the couch.  Then the excitement began.
An Asian Lady Beetle showed up
and after I used two different settings
I decided Scottie could do better with my Canon Power Shot
than I with my amazing Canon Rebel.

What is the difference between Asian Beatle and Lady Bug . . .
Cold ??? Any snow?
Does holding on to your preferred Canon give you a chance to be a REBEL . . .
(Bet you don't need any help in the "rebel" department!)

Good morning, I am a total amateur and keep my camera settings on auto. I like the cute scottie. I think being warm is more important than matching, especially while in the house.

Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!

I am sending you a site that talks about photographing in raw and why it it is better then photographing in JPEG . I photograph in Raw and use the program light room to for my photos to catalog them all and adjust them if want to !http://photographyconcentrate.com/10-reasons-why-you-should-be-shooting-raw/ Hope it helps ! Great shots by the way . Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !

Raw images are very large and they need to be processed with a photo editor. Some people shoot only in raw, others shoot only in JPEP. I use both formats depending on the situation. I shoot in raw when I want very high quality photographs and I shoot in JPEG when really high quality is not necessary; then it's a waste of hard drive space.

to stay warm, I have a grey robe that has a hood and looks like I'm doing an Omawan imitation of star wars. Who cares, so long as we stay warm, right????

Go camera go, that's what I say. Aim and shoot and hope for the best, is all the time I have these days! You have the same great taste in socks as I do!

You found entertainment, there on the couch. I like to just point and shoot. Not much more, or it becomes tedious and I miss it anyway. You do well.

Look out those Asian Beetle's can bite! Cute socks and leggings..I like red. I have never tried to save in RAW but my daughter does, you need a program like Lightroom to deal with the images. I am just a regular jpeg kind of gal:)

You are having way too much fun there. You are an inspiration, so maybe I'll experiment.

The beetles can bite! I have swept them off the screened porch by the cupfuls. I think the cold will slow them down.

Love the leggings and socks.....I am thinking of knitting a large shawl to drape over my shoulders while at the computer.....warmth is everything.

Who cares about the matching...as long as you're kept warm, that's what it's all about! ;)
