Cavorting Water Bugs

create watery illusions with faces.
Colors and images
you might not see magically appear
when you allow the camera to record
what is really there.
Water skaters
and water bugs
paint in water
seeming to favor circles.
Nature...the ultimate artist.

They do make some amazing ripples.

I've noticed that they seem to prefer circles, too!

And as requested, Bob's blog. ^_^

Hope you are careful and have a good day, Gail!

I love the way you think...they paint in water! I have never seen water bugs in water! Only on the ground. But then again, we do not have water nearby that I can go and look in like this. So cool!

Wow, you and they are quite creative. How nice you took the time to watch, record and enjoy their art. Too often we look but don't see. You are never guilty of that.

As a child, we would watch those bugs with fascination and awe. Quite beautiful, actually.
