How Deep?

This doesn't seem like much if you are from a snow state, but here, in Arkansas, this is a lot of snow!  The official measurement was twelve inches.
The animals seem to love it.
Orange has to stays in tracks

Poor Orange, he has to change his kitty habits.

Yes, I love to watch the animals romp and tunnel through the stuff. Tiger the Wonder Dog will run and dive head first just tunneling through makin' the snow fly! It's just a riot to watch.

Ya'll have a great day filled with blessings from above!!!

I hope those mittens are seeing good use. I don't know how much Seymour Freckles looks to be enjoying the snow. He sort of looks pathetic. I do hope he likes it at least a little. Orange looks very brave.

Our rat terrier doesn't have enough hair to enjoy the snow, but our shih tzu just loves it. How long do they expect it to last? Is it warming up and melting?

That is a lot of snow. We have not had anything this year.. and only one snow fall that stuck at all this winter. We have had the warmest January on record and it is supposed to be in the 50's again today! I am not complaining, but boy has it been wet lately again. Stay warm and dry! Our dogs love the snow too.. but three of the four have such short coats they can't stay out too long in it.

That's an awful lot of snow, Gail. I don't wish that on anybody. Our snow is all gone. It got washed away by the rain. Thank goodness!

I'm amazed at how the animals cope in such frigid weather. Do you dry them off when they come indoors.Seems to me the paws and fur would be soaked. bless you for all the care you lavish on these animals.

I had to laugh at you saying, "The snow was over cat deep!" Never heard it measured just quite that way before.

Our cat used to love playing in the snow especially with the kids.
It seems like you have the weather we had last year. Thank goodness it moved on.

My cat loves to wander out and make footprints in the snow (I think she wants relief from the dry heat inside!) We just had our first snowfall, and it is still less than an inch. Snow is pretty. I miss it.

Looks like Seymour Freckles gained some WHITE freckles! LOL!

Good thing you don't have a WHITE kitty or you'd never find it!
