Just a few words to let you know I am not dead. My computer, my washing machine and my vacuum died the same day. Oh, and the cows got out. That was my fine Sunday! Maybe that was a message that I am not supposed to work on the Sabbath.
Cows are back in, the computer is with a guy, the vaccuum is unattended, the washer gets repaired in two weeks...and it's only six months old. I would not have been as nice with the Sears store as my hubby was. I am afraid someone would be wearing this machine and I would have a new one instead of waiting for it to be fixed. They told hubby, we get $25 every time we have to go to the laundramat. Hubby is going every day...he doesn't know that yet, however, I am sure he will be happy.
Needless to say, I am just a tad stressed. Blogging is my valium and I have been without!!!! I will catch up with every body...dirty clothes and all, very soon I hope.

Hope everything goes smoothly and things get back to "normal" soon (whatever THAT is...)
;)
Oh, to be disconnected! my sympathies. hope all the appliances get fixed.
Was it a GE? My family is in the appliance business. We never buy GE's.
There must have been some electronic voodoo thing going on. How awful. I can't imagine that it would take 2 weeks for them to get to your washing machine - Yikes!
Well, they say bad things come in threes.... you've had your share!
A friend of mine bought a TV and it blew within 6 weeks. Sears said to contact Samsung and Samsung said to contact Sears. Meantime a telemarketer phones him up trying to by an extended guarantee plan, guaranteeing service within days! That was 6 weeks ago! Caveat Emptor! Particularly with Sears stuff.
HAhahaha !!!! You may be right about Sunday though because I used to mow the lawn on Sunday's until my lawn mower kept breaking down each week.
Funny thing was when I started mowing on Monday it ran fine !!!
Hope you get everything up and running soon.
Blessings

Well that is the pits. That seems like a long time to repair a washing machine..is the guy walking over?
Hope you get the computer fixed soon..so you can get your fix! :)
Glad you have a backup!
*hugs* ♥ :)
Last week we broke a lawnmower belt and the air conditioner went out. And it wasn't even Sunday. Both are back up and running now hang in there and hope hubby enjoys the laundramat : )
Dang, I thought I was a break alcoholic. And I'm with you on Sears wearing the washing machine. It was the same thing with our mower, I could have baled the grass by the time they fixed it. :)

You poor, poor thing! Do you have a nearby library? They usually have the internet that you could use.
Laundromats are my life. Yeah.
Maybe your husband was trying to show you a little love....you know "Yours till the cows come home" or something like that!
Oh my....I know the Bible says we are to worry about nothing but maybe this is the exception? :) blessings, marlene
Crazy stuff! We are so reliant on our appliances and tend to take them for granted...until they go up in smoke. grrr!

I have to agree on all the comments about Sears. We bought a weed whacker one time and had to return it three times, driving an hour each way. The last time they wouldn't fix it. I threatened to cancel my credit card which I had for about 25 years. It was the first credit card I ever got! They didn't care. So I canceled it. We bought a Stihl and never had an ounce of trouble.
Oh your life sucks this week. I am hoping everything gets back to normal soon. I has to get better right?
Blogging is like my medication too. B
everything always happens to me in three's. hope you catch a break soon
