Oh Gail, I just love this poem. It made me teary eyed. You don't know how many times I've wished the very same thing. Wonderful share :)

Love it ! That is soo true ! Love your photos, Have a great weekend.
oh, you know, we communicate in more than words. nice poem.
You have a wonderful way with words. blessings, marlene
WHo needs a wish when you have such a gift? I think all of your animals already get you as much as you get them.
Sweet posts (catching up). I used to want to be Dr. Doolittle. Singing the song: If I could talk to the animals, just imagine it, chatting with the chimp and chimpanzee...
I always used to wish for the same thing. As a child, Dr. Doolittle was one of my favorite books, along with Carbonel, King of the Cats.Lovely post.=)
Or to be Dr. Doolittle. ;)Hope you all have a great weekend! :)
Awe that is such a sweet poem, I love it, and love the dear animal photos going with it, nothing like having lots of animals around to make one appreciate all we have.Hugs my friend, have a blessed weekend, Barbara ♥
love the poem. and it certainly would be wonderful to do so.
Beautiful Gail. I am an animal empath and although I can pick up on what a lot of my babies are feeling, it would be really cool to actually "hear" them speak. I love this poem. I'm such a sucker for animals!
One wish I would like would be to talk to the animals.
Well put...so meaningful when you love your animals.
Love it! There are times I wish I knew what my critters were saying and there are others when I am sure they would be giving me lip or chewing me out for something or other....lol. Have a great weekend!
I am with you. I so wish I knew what my animals thought or perceived about what goes on around them. I will say that when Kitty was killed, our other Kitty really tried her best to communicate the problem to me. It was eerie!
I couldn't agree more!
Hey! Have you heard how the horses are doing in their new home?
