I Sit...

knowing this is Valentine's day.  I drink sweet tea from my tall Santa cup and find I really don't care how the holiday goes.  I've received one valentine from a very special friend, and she knows how happy I was.

I asked Andrew if he wanted to buy a bag of Hershey Kisses to hand out in school tomorrow.  Hubby asked, why?  So this holiday's been over looked but that's okay.  I get my kisses when ever I want them and my hugs...who needs chocolate?

I DO!!!!
The road driving out yesterday was a little slick and snow fell all day.  We were lucky, a lot melted but there was no school.  The drive home was much whiter.
I watched it pile up at work and swept the walks three times before I just gave up and let it snow.  There is ice and not sure whether there is school today or not.

Soooo, Happy Valentine's Day to all who celebrate...may you receive just what you've dreamed about...and from me, I send you stamps from the United States Postal Service.
Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's day to you, too. I haven't received a valentine since 2003 from a Bo and that's ok by me. It's a trade off: Get a valentine or put up with a significant other. I choose me and no valentine.

I send them to my Grands with money. :)

Happy Valentine's Day To You and Yours! When Bulldog Man (hubby) and I first married, I told him not to buy anything special on V day. Because prices are marked up substantially on this special day. Get me flowers on any other day of the year. He has actually listened to my request.
This morning we have all kinds of fog and black ice out. Even though it snowed yesterday, the kids still had school. It's the same today for the kids. They need to be more careful today, lot's of accidents on the way into school.

Snow here too! The roads are cleared now and expecting sunshine and mid 40's today, so it won't be around long. Hope yours melts off quickly too!

Those were STAMPS? I need to go to the post office more often! They are CUTE!!! I have to go and get a bunch of 1 cent stamps for all of my 44 cent stamps... When we moved I found everything from 26 cent stamps to 37, 39, 42 and 44 cent stamps! Crazy! LOL I think there were a few 63 cent stamps from some graduation announcements as well. Crazy crazy crazy!

Have some extra hot chocolate for me too, okay? I'll have some Dunkin Donuts coffee for you. How's that sound?

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

I think they should call this Happy Fool's Day. It seems that you have to buy a Valentine's gift for every member of your family now, especially your kids. I'm sure that's not what this day is all about.

I didn't get a Valentine's card nor do I expect one. I am past receiving such romantic gestures. I do have both my feet on the ground and not my head in the clouds. I think it's a better state of being to exist in.

We're fools to believe anything else.

I am separated from my Valentine today because I am out of town, but we will be reunited Friday, so that's good.

Looks like you've got some wintry weather goin' on. It's pretty, to tell the truth. Not that I quite envy you, but I can admit that it looks good.

On you...

;)

Happy Valentine's Day to you sweet thing.

Don't give up girl, the day could still hold some chocolate for ya.

'Wish I was there, I still have homemade fudge, truffles and peanut clusters leftover from Christmas in the freezer (keep 'em froze to keep me outta 'em) and I'd share for sure!

God bless and have a wonderful Valentine's day friend!!! :o)

I don't appreciate anything special on a day that's set aside to remind lazy people to do something romantic. Romance, for me, is random. Not planned. And not once a year. :) But, if we had gotten snow? I would have considered that very romantic! And special! And wonderful! And delightful! LOL

It's snowing here for Valentine's Day, too. Wish I could stay put, but that's not in the cards.

I may have to stop off and buy some of those pretty stamps. I hope they're Forever Stamps.

Hi Gail, it looks a bit chilly in those pictures, I like the one with the two trees, it makes me want to walk up to the trees and see what is around the corner.

Happy Valentine's Day! Boy it sure looks cold by you! Actually, it's cold here today in AZ. It's 55 degrees and windy. Don't laugh! That's 20 degrees cooler than yesterday! We have our furnace cranked up to 70 in the trailer!

Hope you get some chocolate by the end of the day!
