a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Terrapin Trading Company

You can't miss Terrapin Trading Company.  The sign drew me in.  I was enchanted. The business owner makes his own stone and silver jewelry.  The pendants are absolutely amazing.
A young couple own/operate this magnificent shop.  Handmade jewelry, tie-died clothing made from hemp and bamboo, scents and sites that are endless and wonderful to view.  They also carry books in a comfortable welcoming reading room.
My photos do not do it justice.
It is a beautiful and interesting place to visit.
There is a greeter who carries a ball in her mouth eager to play
after she greets you with a friendly bark.
Any business that has their dog onsite is okay with me.
Something amazing and inviting in every nook and cranny.
Oh, the treasures I found!
This is the dress I purchased with two new stickers I shall place on the side windows of my car.  Time for those horse stickers to retire.

I purchased an Amazonite ring.  I picked it up and it felt right. Amazonite is called the hope stone.  It is supposed to ward negative energy, help balance your Chakra, aid in healing, help you be more creative and enhance your memory.  It's connection to water also encourages tranquility. There was much more but the ring hasn't kicked in yet.

Shortly after I left the store I took the ring back and told the owner it wasn't working.  He was very concerned and inquired why.  I said, It's suppose to improve my memory and I've already forgotten the name of it!  He laughed and wrote it down for me.

I want to return soon.  There is much more to see.

If you find yourself in Norfork, Arkansas near the junction of White River and Norfork River stop in to see Amanda and David Quinney at 13869 Highway 5 South.  You will be welcomed and have a great time.

I love your sense of humour and this sounds like and looks like a great place to drop in. I sure would enjoy browsing and visiting the reading room too and being greeted by friendly paw paw. I want to see your ring - do you feel it yet? lol

I love to find unique shops like this. I haven't been that direction since my husband's father died in 2004, but I have been wanting to visit Mountain View and Calico Rock again, so maybe one day.

You are so funny. If that ring kicks in and does all that it is supposed to do, I may want to order one. I'll bet the shop owners enjoyed having you come in.

Love shopping, and would enjoy visiting your little shop. It's a bit far away at the moment, but maybe someday! Funny story of your ring.

Who wouldn't want to go into a shop with that name? Any turtle loving person would for sure. I love shops like that. Eclectic wonderland and of course I love your purchases.
Hope your ring brings you all the wonderful energy that you deserve. Put it out under the light of the full moon and it will super charge it for you.
Happy Weekend. Oma Linda

This place looks like a neat place to visit and shop. You can tell the owner is very laid back, he's not wearing any shows.
Any shop owner that brings their dog to work, is all right by me.
This is a place I would stop in if I'm in the area.

Without looking at that piece of paper, what type of stone is on your ring??? Do you remember?
