Painting On Cardboard

I paint
with freedom
no choices
by me
colors
mix
brushes
move
and
am
left
with
the
feeling
I have witnessed
something
outside of myself
and
I
begin
to
paint
again
For a writing/painting prompt at dVerse~Poets Pub.

The freedom of the poem seems to match the freedom of the paint on cardboard...an easy slide of color. Nice.

I love these paintings on carboard. I remember seeing a famous one of Lautrec on cardboard,it inspired me to do the same.I remember paintings but forget their names:)

Its like when those moments come the brush just moves and creates freedom of the mind. Its a wonderful feeling to create poems and paint strokes.

Truly love indeed, as each stroke of the brush is delivered by something locked deep within the artist!

I think sometimes we can tap that well of creation within us - that sits just beneath our awareness.
