Damsel Fly

My favorite out of focus picture for the week.
I would like to paint this on canvas.
Must be their happy season
 They are plentiful
 and very busy.
Damsel fly then they fall
Maybe this Leopard Frog has a taste for Flied Meat!

Hello, I love damsel photos, they are a pretty color. The Leopard frogs is a cool sighting. I have not seen one in a long time. Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!

Sounds like a perfect idea to me, so get those dreamy paints out and get brushing! I want to see your results!

"Snake Feeders" I heard them called when I was a kid. There were always a lot around the mint by the tub at my grandpa's spring.

It's not out of focus - it's an action shot!

The Damsel Fly is beautiful! Even the out of focus one is glorious! The name Damsel makes me think they are all female! I need to research this. Wish we had this many. The frog is beautiful!

So that is what those lovely blue creatures are? I see them a lot but wasn't sure what they were. Thanks for the ID.

busy, busy! Life span is so short, so they are always on the move. Happy frogs.

Petty things. Like little dragonflies. I don't think we have them here, or if we do, I have never noticed them.

I have been watching these play here, too. They are little flashing neon lights!

The first one is a stunning shot. Why not paint it?

Your frog looks quite healthy. Not quite enough for frog legs, but a good bug eater, I bet.
Hope you are all doing well!
