I have always loved Queen Ann's Lace! And the way that it opens like a little basket. But I never thought to photograph it's subjects! How fun! I love this post!
This is beautiful. I used to pick to these for my mom as a little girl and then for my own home later. Love the bugs/subjects. Thanks for the delightful posts.

They really are beautiful, aren't they? I was expecting a rhyme...the subjects are buzzing all over the place. :)
When the queen is happy, there is contentment in the country.
I see a Swedish meadow in its midsummer glory when I see Queen Anne's lace.

These are beautiful shots!
In my kingdom, the king mowed the lawn. Now the bees will have to find other flowers (if you can call them that) until they grow back.
Another delightful post. I am seeing lots of honey bees here enjoying their kingdom of mostly poppies.
What a beautiful series of photo's.
All the best Jan
Love that stuff!
