Leonardo da Vinci said "Art is never finished, only abandoned." I feel that way about work, too. I leave for work and my sisters keep on working.
After Den got the garden dirt in shape, Bev laid straight rows.
The raspberries are planted. Marcy told Bev there were six plants, they magically multiplied into eleven. That is more than six but they are planted nonetheless.
One tree going down...
TIMBER!!
...one down and just a thousand more to go.

Are those trees from the ice damage? Ouch...that is a job.
Nice job on the garden! Can't wait to see it in bloom.
**bloom with veggies etc...not flowers, I know better...lol
You've been doing the same thing I've been doing. That looks like a good size garden you have going there. Ours is small but really all we need 'cause part of my family won't eat veggies.
Take care :)
I can imagine that spring brings a lot of work for you. I hope you take more than a minute for yourself.
Looks like a lot is getting done. We've been working until 9 or 10 every night and I'm tired!
Your garden looks great. so nice to be able to till a spot for everything.
I can relate to that sentiment about work.
Wow, all ready for a garden already?? That seems very early to me. Looks like a very nice and quite large garden spot. More work...
I planted raspberries and boysenberries last year, also peach and cherry trees.
I'm a novice though - keeping my fingers crossed.
You guys look like pioneer settlers, clearing the wilderness. Hope you're taking breaks once in a while. Your garden looks huge!
ooou I see now..trees really did crack!

Just imagine how much more sunlight your land is going to have now with many of those trees gone. And you can replant the type of trees and plants you'd like to so, in your own time.
I'm envious of your garden. I so wanted a garden this summer.
I suppose I'll vicariously through you and drool over all your produce when it's time for the harvest. :)
