OMG, the last you should blow up and frame. They look like modern art :) and winter is about to dump more beauty on us. Jules @ Trying To Get Over The Rainbow
So true Gail! There is so much beauty in winter! The other morning we had a hore frost(think that's whatit"s called) It was so beautiful as I drove into town aand saw the frost covered trees! I was kicking myself I didn't have my camera! Thank you so much for the kind words! It does help to hear words of wisdom! It really made me stop and think with my heart! Sorry I rambled! Hugs, Traci
How right you are! Winter does have some beautiful aspects that we only seem to appreciate when it is summer and too hot. I'm so glad I found your blog. Your blogg'n buddy Nezzy sent me over to say "Hello"
Lovely post! Just found you tonight through Nezzy site and I just had to check you out. I knew if you were a friend of Nezzy's I would like you too Happy New Year Maggie
True, I guess. But there are times I could do without having my feet slide out from under me and falling flat on some very hard ice - or feeezing my butt off trying to shovel my way out of three feet of heavy snow. Still - there is beauty to be seen, I guess. ;) ATB!
Hi Gail! I came over from Nezzy's. Love your photos and especially the ones of your horses. I miss being around them! We had them on the farm where I grew up and then my hubby and I had a few once upon a time when we lived on a few more acres than we do now. Can't wait for spring now, but I am one, too, that likes to find some beauty in the long cold winter. It's out there, isn't it? Glad to have met you! Happy 2011! ~Cheryl
As much as I love Springtime..I know that the summer heat is right on it's heels...and that makes me settle back and sit by the fire.
Retirement is coming to you faster than a locamotive...you just don't realize it. I could be dead by the time you get there, Gail. Now that's a sobering thought! :):) *giggle* (Nerves!)

Simple, but beautiful. Nature's artwork. It is hard to improve on that.
Okay, even I, who really isn't a fan of winter, have to admit those are pretty neat pictures.
Amen, sister! There's beauty in every season -- if you know where to look.
Love the photography! :)

It's hard to ponder the beauty of winter in subzero temperatures, but from now on, I promise to try.
