Simple, but beautiful. Nature's artwork. It is hard to improve on that.

Okay, even I, who really isn't a fan of winter, have to admit those are pretty neat pictures.

Amen, sister! There's beauty in every season -- if you know where to look.

Love the photography! :)

OMG, the last you should blow up and frame. They look like modern art :) and winter is about to dump more beauty on us.

It's hard to ponder the beauty of winter in subzero temperatures, but from now on, I promise to try.

True, I guess. But there are times I could do without having my feet slide out from under me and falling flat on some very hard ice - or feeezing my butt off trying to shovel my way out of three feet of heavy snow. Still - there is beauty to be seen, I guess. ;) ATB!

Hi Gail! I came over from Nezzy's. Love your photos and especially the ones of your horses. I miss being around them! We had them on the farm where I grew up and then my hubby and I had a few once upon a time when we lived on a few more acres than we do now. Can't wait for spring now, but I am one, too, that likes to find some beauty in the long cold winter. It's out there, isn't it? Glad to have met you! Happy 2011! ~Cheryl

As much as I love Springtime..I know that the summer heat is right on it's heels...and that makes me settle back and sit by the fire.

Retirement is coming to you faster than a locamotive...you just don't realize it. I could be dead by the time you get there, Gail. Now that's a sobering thought! :):) *giggle* (Nerves!)
