The Icy Fingers...

of winter
Touch my cheek
Leaving red upon ivory.

The dread locks of winter
Block my vision of spring
While my heart cries, "Tulips!"

Burrrrr!!! What a great shot!!! Do ya know when the kiddos were at home they'd let me get all warm and relaxed in my bath, (always has been my awwwww time) holler 'incoming' and toss icicles or snowballs over the top of the glass door!!!

Golly gee....I wonder where they got their orneriness??? Heeehehehe!!!

God bless you sweetie and have a marvelous day. Do take advantage of this springlike weather for it too shall pass too soon!!! :o(

"dread locks of winter", I like that!

It has been rather spring like here the past week or so. The creeks are flooding and the river is up as the snow melts. It is much, much to early for that to be happening!

Happy weekend to you!
