a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Sometimes, We Look...

instead of working.
We checked the pond to see
how many catfish were still "bedding".
I discovered it takes a special photographer
to take underwater shots.
There is a fish in this photo, right hand side.
This one, you can't miss.
A big catfish guarding her eggs swims away.

I can spot the fish okay, it seems like you might have quite a few in the pond.

I always have trouble with water photos, too. I need sunglasses for my camera. ;)
Lovely pond though, Gail. :)

So, when's the fish fry?

I assume you only catch and keep the large sized ones that make for good eating. It makes me hungry thinking about it. Fried catfish is good!
