a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

I'm Gone...

but, hay...just thought I'd show you around
At The Farm.
This is one of our main springs.
This one supplies more than enough
 for all our needs.
The water is crystal clear
and tastes better than sweet tea.
White Tail deer sneak into the orchard
while Spring is trying on her new colors.

gone to work perhaps? love the spring. it reminds me of the one at my aunt and uncles out in the country when I was a kid. my uncle would walk out to it every morning and pump water into the tank for the days use.

Spring is here one day and the next winter is back. I figure we have another week or three of this before spring grabs hold for real.

How I would love a chance to drink from that well! I'll bet it's the best water ever.

Love your play on words there at the beginning. ;)

Have I told you before that Hubs' grandmother had natural springs on her property? Such delightful water. We went and brought it home in 5 gallon jugs all the time. She passed away a few years ago (at age 103) and her youngest daughter took everything over. Now, no one is allowed to get water from the spring. Anyway, we have pictures of Hubs' grandmother when she was a little girl playing at the spring with her brother.

Hay now! That's awesome.

We have things in bloom in Detroit, too. It's bizarre and way too early.
