I always prefer my drinks on the rocks
but not the farm.
Ice...
not much but too much for us.
This is the South!
The valley sparkles in the morning sun
and the woods crackle with falling ice.
Ice
and Spring is delayed a few more days.

Oooohhh poor flowers.
Gee, you just showed us photos of spring plants coming up and now they are fallen over from the ice. You are in the SOUTH, right. The trees are spectacular in the sun and you are fortunate they are not bending over. Wow, Great Photos.
Aaaaw! But I was so looking forward to it : ( We got lots of snow but little ice what about 6 hours north of you...
I hope your spring buds/flowers survive the ice . . . we are weeks away from spring. Our "snow dust" of December and January has become "snow dumps" for the past six weeks. One more last night. We sure have HILLS of snow!
we weren't quite as bad as you were, but we did drop into the 30s again.
The ice is beautiful, but so sad for the life underneath it.
The weather is mercurial these days, to say the least...
Strange stuff.
=)
Wow, some awesome photos! Water does strange things.
Gail,
Beautiful pictures of the ice on the trees, flowers and house.
The only problem with all the ice, it's dangerous, tree branches break, and you have the potential of losing electric.
Did you get the thunder behind it too?
I love ice photos, but not on the flowers : (
But it is so pretty. It really looks like diamonds.
Glad to know you all kept your power also. We got all the pretty with minimal damage. Love the sparkles in the trees. Just came from town and the drive was awesome.
sorry for the ice and the ice on the flowers, but the ice flower pics are awesome, i like the curly cue
Poor flowers but I would take it instead of all the cold and snow here, Francine.
It's a bit cold here, but we have no ice, just a few flurries of snow that does not stay on the ground. Your forest of ice does look pretty and I would like to hear the sound of all that ice cracking. xox
Oh I love ice photos perfect. B
I know what you mean, Gail.
It's not right, but it sure does look neat, doesn't it?
You all be careful this weekend!
At least it is moisture and makes for pretty photos:)
It seems like Arkansas is starting to get some of our weather. DH used to travel down there and he said they usually didn't get out ice storms.....it should all be gone for both of us by tomorrow.
Dang ice! So pretty yet so distructive!
