Easy Wind For Two Shoes in Texas

The leaf floated
Into my sight
Landing easyily
On my shovel

In awe of the colors
The size
The wind's delivery
I stopped

Simply to enjoy
Nature's art
To wonder and wish
I could paint that beautifully

Nature sure blew in a beautiful leave, I love the lines and color.
I would try to press this leave in a book between wax paper.

I like how your imagination works when you speak the plain old truth.

Hi Gail, I think you do paint that well. But, ... You could always take a few more lessons. Mother Nature beckons.

Is that an old G.I. shovel? I used to carry on in my back pack when I was in the Army.

Wow, Gail! This wonderful huge leaf was indeed the perfect inspiration for your Two Shoes Tuesday poem. The wind delivered a lovely gift to you! Isn't it amazing that things of nature appear so simple, yet are nearly impossible to recreate as perfectly as the original? I liked the feeling your words created, of taking time to stop and experience the beauty of the moment. We need to do more of that in life! Thank you for an awesome contribution to Two Shoes Tuesday, it made me smile!

That little USA spade behind the leaf in the pic is pretty cool too.

The beauty of perfection is in its imperfections. Does that make sense to anyone but me?
