a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

I Put My Painting Hat On...

It didn't fit very well.  I was touching up some old spots and painting some new spots.

While painting the floor I turned around and stepped in the wet paint.  Jumped off that and put my hand in wet paint on the cabinet. Bend over to clean my foot and now my back end is painted.

At least my hair is different.  Black with lavender and green accents.

It was not my day to paint.

You couldn't plan a comedy routine that well...

Are you sure you n "Lucy" haven't done a few routines together. I pictured this happening and it made my belly ache from laughter. No, I guess it was not your day to paint, silly girl. he,he

I'm chuckling right now, because I'm about to tackle a painting job as well. So far I have already had a couple of minor disasters, those things that make you go out and spend more money, even though you wanted to do this job cheap!

Thanks for the laugh - I'm thinking it might not have been funny at the time, though!
I have to get back to painting. I'm procrastinating. Five windows left before that trim is done. Ugh!

That sounds like my painting days. I always look like I took a bath in it by the end of the day. :)

I'm not laughing..honest. The last time I painted indoors, I spilled a half can of paint on the carpet. It's still there too. I don't have a clue how to get it out. I've scrubbed and scrubbed.

I know it really isn't funny, but I laughed anyway!!

I haven't painted in years and may never do it again if my recently found yard man and jack of all trades can do it for me.
