It was easy to see something had walked through here leaving clear proof of the direction the being was headed.
Then I found this!
I can't track it.
Which way did it go?
I found this clue...
Human shoes
Someone trying to push winter away by playing bare foot in the mud looking for artifacts. Looking for ROCKS, can you believe that? I soon discovered although the temps were in the high fifties, that the mud was cold
and the spring water from the faucet was ice cold, too.
Almost clean enough for inside.
Oh, man, what a beautiful day to play.

Always wanted to meet Big Foot.......proof is in the footprint - you had me fooled there for a minute and I saw the footprints and thought - "she's onto something here. ha,ha. Loved it. We are in blizzard warning and its happening now, so might lose power, might have buncha snow - seems like winter chose to come the end of January instead of the past two months?? Could rain they say too. Hi to all n hugz to M and healing to M lol
If your feet were bigger, you could really trick some Bigfoot hunters.
You do have some fun with those bare feet, don't you!?
Happy rock hunting! But you might want to keep your shoes on until Spring.
i have a big grin on my face, smiled all the way through this Tale of the bigfoot sighting, laughed out loud at the last shot of Bigfoot Toes barefoot in the winter... so glad you could get out and feel the soil between your toes. i know how much you love it.
How incredibly fun! Plus a mud-bath for your toes and feet. Win! Win!
beautiful and warm here too. not quite spring but makes me want to work outside clearing away dead stuff.
Cold water on delicate feet yikes.
Made me cold just watching it. I am glad you are having a warm day. :)
You are brave one, or at least your feet are! I do love to go barefoot in the summer, though.
Barefeet, boots, or flip flops makes for real fun in the sand, mud, or water.
I think that is a case of happy feet. I would if I could but I have puny feet that need orthodics to function. Bummer.
Dedicated rock hound aka "Big Foot" :) Wonderful post Gail :)
Can't wait to go wading in the water, can you?! IF you do ever see B.F., take a photo? Worth big money.
I was with ya till you washed the sand off with the ice cold water! BRRRR LOL! I hope you found some cool rocks!!

You made me laugh. I think if I took off my boots outside today that my toes would fall of. -23 this morning. Jealous you are having more fun:) Hug B
I love this post. It makes me want to go out and play. By the time Spring is here I should be healed pretty well.
