from yesterday.
Kinda like The Little Red Hen except I had no seeds.
No one was helping me.
Lizzy rested in a freshly raked pile of leafs.
Ki-Anne wondered what was so great about what I was gathering.
Lil just wanted me to throw a stick.
See that TINY stick by her fore paws?
I guess this was a dog day afternoon.

Always nice to see the dogs - looks like a nice enough day. We had a beautiful day here yesterday as well, little chilly with wind but only -10. We walked on the beach at St. Andrews only approx 18 minutes from here and inhaled the salty air.....Aaaaaaah.
there is nothing better than a dog day afternoon or dog photos or even with being dog tired. sounds like you had a good day and maybe got something done?
I am dog tired myself, someone throwing a stick for me may wake me up. Hug B
Gail, nice to see that you had a good day with your dogs...three! I have two very small ones, and that's a lot. They look lovely and content.
Dog day afternoons are needed for each of us!
Lil looks too tired to chase a stick though.
Working dogs taking a much needed vacation.
Even though each dog is taking a break, they're right beside their own protecting her and of course the stick :-)
perfect companions. :)
Oh yes, a dog day afternoon with your best buddies right there too! Life is so doggie darn good!
Always enjoy seeing your dogs. Is that all of them or were some hiding somewhere else?

They always know the right time to "chill" and when to work.
Lil looks like she was asking very sweetly. :-)
Hope you all have a blessed weekend, Gail. ♥
Heck, I guess they need a break now and again.
=)
