My fences aren't pretty but they work. Sadly we have no horses or cattle now so we don't worry so much about fence. The land still needs bush hogged and fences need to be checked anyway.
Lil has found a hidden water hole under barbed wire.
Look closely and you will see
electric fence surrounds this field.
It seems empty without stock.
Check it out, almost a hundred fences there already.
Join the fun.

Love the photo in GREEN!
Love it . . .
I like barbed wire fences best . . . rusty and bent too!
You are bless't . . . but you already knew that!
Gail You link is not working I came to your post a different way to see your fences. I have emailed Tex to see if she can fix it for you. I like the forst shot.
Fencing for you must be important - a little different if you just want to fence a small garden!
Lil looks happy ...
All the best Jan
I do so love "space"....:)JP
all that green space and trees is so peaceful and beautiful. and Lil is always beautiful
Aren't you just loving all this green! We are surrounded by barb wire fences that probably all need to be fixed..they have been here since the 30's when my grandfather bought this land. Have a wonderful weekend!
i know you miss your cattle and horses, too. but you made the choices to get rid of them for good reasons. :) *sigh*
I always enjoyed tagging along with my grandpa checking the fences for his cattle. Life changes, but my memories are forever. I'm really lingering in the view of your last photo, priceless.
Have you ever witnessed an animal or person get shocked by that electric fence?
Your fencing is the real deal...
=)
All the green is great, isn't it?
Except when it keeps growing in the rain and you can't mow!
Blessings to you all, Gail. ♥
Nice little watering hole and a cute dog. I sure wouldn't want to meet up with an Electric Fence but the greenery there is lovely.
