Spawning Anew

painting by Daria Petrilli
and
Baring the truth
We are connected
When Mother cries
We taste tears
Birth life death
The cycle slows

Losing ground
Share the blame
Without honor
Hoping we awaken
In time to rebirth
A balanced world

Lovely cycle of life poem. It's quite profound, Gail. By the way, this isn't linked to Magpie Tales.

It is linked. I hadn't refreshed my page.

Oh, I hope too that it is still possible to rebirth a balanced world. We have gone so far away from that direction I do wonder...

The world seems so out of balance that this rebirth is exactly what it needs!

We are the spawn of the sea, where our first phases of creation happened, & now through neglect & disrespect, we are poisoning our mother; I share in your hopes for the future.

In time to rebirth

it fits the fish swimming inside her dress.. perfectly
