I watched 'The Birds' once too often as a child...

We'll see flocks of black birds like that, hundreds of them. A little unnerving.

My heart soars with them. You should go to Jenny Matlocks' blog and post this for Warmhearted Wednesday.

The flock apparently likes your place. Something has attracted them :-)

We have huge flocks on black birds. Unnerving--Hitchcock apparently saw them as well.
These birds do not like little songbirds.

If those are Grackles, they use to eat all the dog food out of the automatic feeders. Grr.

They are both beautiful and creepy, aren't they? Ha. I remember the movie "The Birds" and while I was little at the time it scared me. Then I watched it as an adult and thought it wasn't that scary. Then I came upon a scene much like yours once, riding a bike in the country and topped a hill and there were black birds EVERYWHERE....like thousands, hundreds of thousands....and it freaked me out, ha.
