I watched 'The Birds' once too often as a child...
We'll see flocks of black birds like that, hundreds of them. A little unnerving.
Good morning, I like seeing the big flocks of birds. Great sighting and captures. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
Same here- all these birds passing through- such fun to watch. Aren't you just loving the gorgeous blue skies we are having?!
Gail, reminds me of an Alfred Hitchcock movie!
Alfred Hitchcockk hovering . . .
i just came from Chery's blog and she has a Hitchcock moment at her farm to... looks like yours might have more than one type... we had clouds of blackbirds back during the summer
Ha! Ha! Your title, followed by your photos, you know where my thoughts are! That movie still gives me shivers!
My heart soars with them. You should go to Jenny Matlocks' blog and post this for Warmhearted Wednesday.=)
The flock apparently likes your place. Something has attracted them :-)
Lots of birds...brings to mind Alfred Hitchcock :) Nice shots!
Run!!!!!!!Only kidding, they're beautiful, what a great shot.Lynne x
We have huge flocks on black birds. Unnerving--Hitchcock apparently saw them as well. These birds do not like little songbirds.
If those are Grackles, they use to eat all the dog food out of the automatic feeders. Grr.
birds of a feather, flock together!!! what a beautiful blue sky!!!!
very nice against the blue sky and bare branches.
that's a lot of birdies.......
They are both beautiful and creepy, aren't they? Ha. I remember the movie "The Birds" and while I was little at the time it scared me. Then I watched it as an adult and thought it wasn't that scary. Then I came upon a scene much like yours once, riding a bike in the country and topped a hill and there were black birds EVERYWHERE....like thousands, hundreds of thousands....and it freaked me out, ha.
Wow..what great shots, Gail!! We have flocks of crows here and they are neat to watch...are these black birds? Suddenly the post disappeared..???
Where's Mr. Hitchcock when he's needed??
Boy, they can be noisy, can't they? Thanks for sharing, Gail. :)
That's a bunch of birds for sure!
