Or can you... I feel a mystery lurking here!

Very true statement. However, it is much easier to hide than deal with what is true. Can one see ones self as others see us? And do we really want to? Love the photo.

Can we really hide from ourselves? I do think we try at times. You have been writing some witty lines lately :)

for this poem to be me it would have to be
Not Hiding from me
I can see
who
I
really
am

and who i really am is plain to see and i don't like what i see.
but i would like my back to LOOK like that one... but not enough to starve myself.. and as i ramble on and on.. HOW DID THEY DO THAT is my question.

Always a mystery--is the "real" what we see, or what others see? Or something else entirely?

I don't think I'll ever see what I really am, how can I show it to the world?

Takes a life time to know anyone. Especially one's self

But at least you are looking !

Knowing that, there is still a hope that there are chances when the self will be proclaimed without fear...
