Too Early Tuesday...

What can I say? I was up too early this morning. About half way through the day I realized it was not Skywatch Tuesday but actually Skywatch Friday. I guess I finally got something done early!
I may call this Wacky Wednesday but it still Tuesday so Too Early Tuesday will have to do.
This is on the dirt road going to our farm.
My day was normal as it could be since I do go out into the public. Don't get me wrong, I love my job or I would not have stayed with it for thirty-four years. It's just every once in a while, there's that one that just makes your day. Need I say more?
I am now counting cats. They are mostly the same color and my husband thought he was seeing the same few over and over. When Den saw this picture on Marcy's porch, he said...never mind, I will not quote what he said. Any way is my near future I must schedule a cat visit to the vet and see if we can't slow this down a little. Cats are good on a farm. They catch rats, mice and other assorted varmints that we really do not want.

oh my gosh, I see 1, 2, 3, . . .9? Is that 9 (and maybe one pregnant with her head in the bowl) cats that look the same? LMBO!!!!

Oh Gail, you never cease to amaze me, entertain me and brighten every day that I visit your blog :)

You do know, you really do know, you have to write a poem about these cats lol!

I use to raise himalayans and persians and I still never had that many of one single color.

I had people calling me all the time wanting white cats with blue eyes. I could never produce but maybe 2 or 3 a year. I should have called you for the secret to single color mass production lol!

As for the sky watch Tuesday, well I thought it was pretty cool that you were ahead of schedule so well. I'm still waiting for a nice shot to get and here you are 3 days ahead of the game, you go Gail! :)

Believe me, this was not planned! Marcy carried a cat under the hood of her truck from somewhere and Barnie started all this! Everyone was not mentioning the cat to Den. My daughter, my sister and I were sneaking over to feed it in the barn. No one was talking about the cat. My daughter and I finally had a conversation and we both had named the cat without telling the other. We both has chosen Barnie!
My other sister cleans houses and had a cat leave a litter in her car...guess it was cooler in there. She found them in the floor board. We thought they were Barnie's so instead of Marcy hand feeding them as she had been, we let her in. Barnie took them with no problem. THEN I found Barnie's real babies in the barn. She raised both litters.
They have just exploded from there. You know if someone was wanting that color, they would be another color. I would love to throw some manx in the batch before I fix all of them.
I think there are nine. We are lucky most are male and all are quite pampered and spoiled.
I have wondered why I am blogging...maybe it is to brighten your day.

Wow. So many cats.
I'm not liking the stray cats around here anymore.
I love to feed the birds during the winter but the stray cats seem to think I'm setting up the bird feeders as a free birdie buffet just for them.

I'm so frstrated and sad at all of the piles of feathers I've been finding.
Somethings got to give....and it's not going to be the birds. :(

What a wonderful birhtday present! All these wonderful comments. Hey, I know, how about a free cat for every comment here. Send me your mailing addresses...just kidding! Gotta scared didn't I?

I'll pass on the free cat offer, but hey, thanks anyway. You and I seem to have the same problem. I agree, cats are good on a farm, however...too many cats is making me crazy!! It's going to cost a small fortune to "do the deed" and it all started with 1 pregnant stray that we took pity on. Sheesh!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GAIL!!!

That is a lot of cats! I am limiting myself to black tuxedo cats. Those are plentiful enough. You are right about the color thing.
