A Deep Fog

took me back millions of years.

I could see dinosaurs lurking in the fog.

I heard the leathery wings.
The ground trembled with the footsteps of giants.
Then the fog cleared.
I knew I was alone.

Gail.....these photos are beautiful! Rather haunting, in a way, and your words fit just right. Is this on your way to work? Have a good day!

Very poetic way you have there Gail! Once, when my oldest was in Kindergarten, he was going out to catch the bus, and opened the door to a wall of fog, he turned to us, looked very wise, and stated 'My it is very froggy out'. We use this phrase still today!!

Oh man! I was really hoping something spooky...or really funny was going to be at the end.

Very cool photos and words to go along with, though. Man! That's some thick fog. We rarely ever have fog up here. I think it's beautiful!
