Yes, Gail, as the song says, "The heat is on." But, I did all my weather complaining last January and February, so I'm out of whines and must "bear" this heat in silence. LOL....I love hot weather. The flowers can take it until the mercury hits above 100. Then, I'll wilt, too!
We've been blessed with great sleeping weather for 2 days now. The low was 52 degrees and at 1PM, it's a sunny 68 degrees with gloriously low humidity.
I'm loving it, but will leave it behind for Virginia tomorrow.
Gorgeous flowers!!! Here in WA, we have none, as all it has been doing for days is rain...or be cloudy.... It was 43 degrees when I woke up this morning. Is that ridiculous summer weather or what????

Such pretty colors.
It has finally cooled down a bit here, not so much humidity.
☼ Sunny
Beautiful sunflowers.
I don't know what kind of flowers they are, but they are gorgeous. So bright with color, like Van Gogh. You should paint them.

Despite the heat, your flowers are gorgeous!
Lovely! Funny how the heat can cause us to wilt in a second, but the flowers just stand up and fly their colors proudly!

Love your pretty sunflowers. Perhaps it's time to run through the sprinkler and cool down a bit. :)
Gorgeous pictures! I just love sunflowers, they are my favorite.
This past week it's been beautiful weather with no humidity and NO RAIN! Yipee!
Love the sunflowers - especially the third photo! Never seen one that color!
