a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

The Sky

was beautiful as I walked.
The farm team had recovered enough to hunt.
The ground was damp enough for tracks.
The sunset peeked over the trees
as Ki-Anne asks, "What's taking you so long?"

Oh you had rain yeah well I am assuming since there is mud. It is supposed to be 47c here with the humidity I think I will find a whole in the bush:) B

Gail,

Great pictures :-)
Ki-Anne seems frisky enough to tackle the world. No snake will keep her back!

It's so good to see the dogs out after their run-in with the snake. That was pretty scary!
We used to have copperheads all over the place, but luckily our dogs were too passive to go after them!

So glad the dogs have recovered. We had a lab when we lived in Louisiana that went blind from too many moccasin bites around the face!

With this heat I am looking more at sunrises than sunsets! Glad the pups are ok after their encounter with the snake!

Our soil is baked to a crisp. I think I'd have difficulty finding the tracks of anything out there.

Beautiful skies and happy dogs. What more can a person ask for?
