a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Friday

Every creature is looking for food
Every creature is looking for water.
Even the moon is looking strange
in these dry hot times.

It's true. I think the rabbits got hungry. My cantelope plants are gone.

we have saved 2 6 inch snakes from our pool, we think they are looking for water, and i saw that funny looking moon and pointed it out to my husband. the weather is totally out of control.

Gail,
I like your pictures, every bug and critter is looking for food and water. It makes you wonder if we too will soon be looking.
Just a thought (scary one at that).

We are getting the rain you are yearning for. Things are unequally divided in this world. xox

Yup, here, too. We lost a bean plant last night. I'm betting bunny goes and tells his friends and all of the beans will be mowed down tonight!

There is relief in sight as far as the heat - Sunday a high of 80 - yeah!

Maybe everyone needs to do a synchronized rain dance for it to work. How about it? Everyone free tonight at 6:00? CDT

Every creature searching for food n water. Really good photos and I hope the rains come soon for you all. We have had the most unusual cluster of clouds as in thunder n lightning and torrential downpours, but mostly the clouds are what are unusual to us around here. Never saw so much cloud cover, mixed with light n very dark, OMINOUS colour. On my way to my Neice's wedding. May your days be wet soon.
