Limerick in Yellow

Time again to gather your creative words
and enter them at Tess's Place, Magpie Tales.
Read the entries.  Lots of good writing going on.
Sick Woman, 1665, by Jan Steen

There was a young lady in yellow
Who fainted as she lay on her pillow
The doctor arrived
Helped her revive
Oh, what a wonderful fellow.

this one i love, the pic and the poem. that jacket she has on reminds me that way back when i was a child, if a lady was in bed, she wore a short bed jacket to cover herself up, over her gown.

As laughter is the best medicine, I bet he prescribed her a limerick. Nice one!
