Flash Friday Friday Cat Conversation

Having a little fun with Flash Friday  Hoping I connected to the site for this fun challenge. Couldn't decide who was the birther of this challenge so I connected to Mr. Knowitall, too
The cats greeted the morning
Blinking from the sun
Their night of hunting
Was productive and done
Gray asked Orange,
“How was the taste?”
Orange extended his tongue
meowing, “What a waste!”
Discussing the varied menu
Mice or lovely bird
After much discussion
They declared it was absurd
They reverted to kibble-eating
And voted to stay inside.

Gail, You did just fine!
I inherited the Friday Flash Fiction prompt from Susie about 5 years ago, and it's grown into a fine little circle of friends. I hope you found this to be creative, challenging, and FUN!
In regards to your post...
Those are just like my 3 cats!!!
Great pic to go along with your little ditty. Writing a story with a plot and a central character in only 55 words, sharpens your skills, and makes you become more succinct. Fantastic job!
Loved your Feline 55.
Please join us again next Friday, thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End....G

Smart cats, don't have to work for their food. Instead just stay inside and have a little kibble ;-)

They know that kibble doesn't put up a fight and they don't have to work for it!...:)JP

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I keep my cat inside so he does not eat the poor little birds. He slobbers when he watched them out of the window, my little assassin.

I had to call an exterminator for a mouse problem in my house years ago in Michigan. We lived next to a field. He walked around and said I had a problem. I fed my three cats too much store bought food :)
