The Mag 150...She Stood

For Magpie Tales...a creative prompt
She Stood

Innocent yet sultry
Determined  unwilling
Inviting yet aloof
She stood

Just through the glass
Beyond reach
Mere inches away
He stood

He tried the door
She spoke not a word
The latch held
They stood

Anger sparked
Innocence in jeopardy
The door shook
He stood

Shoulder to wood
Forceful entry
Door splintered
They stood

Holding her ground
The law on her side
The gun smoked
She stood...alone

Nice twist - aah, Gail King is back. You gotta get out more often to be inspired to knock out a good punch like this one, Eh.
