a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Contribution To Poets Pub...

Poets Pub had a double challenge today.  One for words, one for music. Your choice.

My random words were supplied by grandsons: ass, dog, cut, sleep, hit, lazy, sleepy, fuzzy, football, guitar.
This will surely be a challenge.
Cutting the wheel sharply
I almost hit the lazy dog
If I were not an ass
I would sleep
Pull over
Let my fuzzy mind
Recover
From a day
Filled with football
And guitar
And dreams.

if someone had told me to take 10 random words and turn them into an 11 line poem, I would have thought them a cookie or two short of a full packet ;-)
You do a fantastic job though. I could not help but smile as I read it.

OMG Look at all the Chemtrails in the picture. Good shot of them. Yesterday, here, too, the deep blue sky became criss-crossed with chemtrails in mid afternoon and I get sick at heart when I see them but it's every day.
Good poem....You did it Kiddo.
