For winter to end we must have two things. Easter flurries is the second to
last cold snap or snow before Spring can come alive for real.
The inches of snow that cover the spring flowers will be gone soon.
We await Blackberry Winter to nip the fruit buds before we can truly welcome
Spring.
Having some fun with
Flash Friday.

Nice!
We've not had snow for Easter, but it hasn't been this cold in March in ages.
Isn't that the truth! Calling for 5 to 9 inches here for Saturday night
: (
Good thing Mr. Easter Bunny has a fur coat!
i see we've got a dip below freezing forecast here for monday night, again! bluebonnets just started blooming yesterday in the driveway...
Shhhhh.......
Nooooooooooo
It's suppose to get real cold here, maybe some snow too :P
Not the blackberries! I just hate it when the lilac buds are frozen, and all we got were shriveled brown branches. But, please, spare the blackberries and peaches!
I think a lot of us are asking where the heck is spring . The temps are not spring like here either . Hopefully by April it will truly be spring everywhere ! Nice shot . Have a good day !
none of this applies to Florida so now i am wondering what we have here that harkens spring
We are keeping an eye on the storm in the Atlantic and hoping the "European" model s right!...:)JP
they are calling for flurries in our neck of the woods as well...interesting....wishing spring would just come on...you know...
I for one just want Winter OVER!!
Your post has a Ben Franklin feel to it

Thank you so much for this great effort
Have a Kick Ass Week End
Nice looking snow..I am sure it will melt fast and bring you beautiful spring flowers..that I will covet:)
no snow in Texas...thank goodness...
Stay warm and have a great weekend, Gail. :-)
Spring seems to be an ever elusive thing around here! We like to call it Sprinter...for it is a mix of winter and spring!
We always get one more frost before the hot weather sets in for the season. But, this year, it seems winter has decided to switch places with spring. Not that I'm complaining- I love winter!- but I was ready to wear capris to school because the warm temps have been here for so long. I shaved my legs for goodness sakes. LOL
Shouldn't Easter flurries be an oxymoron? I guess not!
(just in California)
;)
I am so over winter just wish it was over with me.
Isn't that a song?
In your Easter winter coat!
Ha!
