my dad would be eating those cat fish, he loved them, to me they were nasty tasting but he cooked them and he and mother chowed down on them. one of those would make a good meal.
i have no idea what haiku is and i see Gwen is a haiku freak. i am off to define this word

I am no critique of Haiku . . . but I like all of your poetic creating! Are the catfish swimming in the pond, water near you?

This is exquisite..Catfish shed winter...

Catfish is gooood eating. It has a sweet taste, and Mom rolled it in corn meal, cooked in oil. My mouth waters just thinking about it.

goodness, those look like some massive fish.

I think I'll have to do a little research on a Haiku...wouldn't ever admit that I'm not 100% sure what it is (but I do have a general idea.) I may join you on one of these one day.

And you said you couldn't do haiku??

I beg to differ.
