Marcy always beats me to the draw, she is out way earlier than I am. I have missed my Sunday walks so I am bundling up to face the cold air and sunshine. Hoping I find treasures, I know I will find peace and beauty.
Join me later for the farm through my lens.

My ice art forms in my dog's outdoor water dish on the back porch.
A few times a day we bring it in and run water over the ice and watch how it bubbles up in the openings between the ice layers. It bloops and blops with sound and then the main piece lets go of the sides. That is when it is ready for our girl to grab the ice out of it and crunch it up like we had just served her a yummy cocktail.
I know it is bad for her teeth but she is old so she gets what she wants.

Great ice pictures - mine come from the birdbath outside my back door.
I love your header photo - makes me long for summer!
I can't believe that I took the same photos this morning. They are so artistic!
I love those pictures !
They remind me my place where I can't live right at the moment (I had to moove to find a work), and where I took those ones:
