a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Three-fifty AM...

Merely catching up on my reading and my commenting.  I had not planned this.  My dilemma of the hot feet and hands are driving me to wakefullness.  Short-tempered, hot-footed inability to sleep wakefulness.  I really don't like this because the time grows closer to entering the world of the working people.

Hoping I do not stumble through my day in a foggy lack of sleep dream...my poor customers will suffer.

I, in desperation, made a detailed list of what was bothering me to take to the emergency room.  The hot feet thing is getting the best of me!  I run cold spring water in the tub, cool the feet and hands and try to reenter slumber land...no luck.  I lay listening to hubby snore and count all the ways I could stop that sound but try none of them.  He will wake refreshed not realizing the danger surrounding him in the wee hours of his morning.

I did not go to the emergency room.

I am seeking a Shaman who makes house calls.  I need a cure!

Hummmm, hot hand and feet...weird. Do they swell when they get hot? Take care of yourself girl!

I hit the floor at 12:15am this morin' turnin' on lights, fans, anything. I sure thought a lizard ran across my pillow. Now, if that won't put a farm chick to dancin', heeehehehe. Hubby tells me this morning that I was dreaming. {{{SIGH}}}, I sure hope so!

Take care and I sure pray you find out what goin' on you little hot foot :o)

Not sure what it might be. Hopefully nothing serious.
I used to get hot flashes, but it was usually my face and upper body.

I can relate to the not sleeping, the husband snoring, and the thoughts of how to make the noise stop! I too have had several sleepless nights lately ... mine is related to the hot weather. Could yours have anything to do with that?
Take care ...

Hot hands and feet is usually a sign of toxin build up in the body. I always start with a liver cleanse because of my tendancy to get headaches too. I get a supplement from Solaray brand that is for the most part Dandelion and Milk thistle. Dandelion tea is really good. If you like herbal teas maybe try drinking alot of it. Along with honey that helps heal things too.
Also put a little Peppermint and lavender Essential oil in some lotion for your feet and hands. When you soak your feet put epsom salts in it about a cup...
My oldest stepped on Honey locust throns last year and she is allergic to certain trees. When we werent able to get it out right away she broke out all over her legs. I ended up taking he rot the doctor. She told us that the bottom of our feet absorb thing really quick.
If I think of anything else I will send it on. I KNOW how uncomfortable that is!

When my feet are cold, I use a heating pad on my groin--it warms the blood as it passes through big vessels on its way to my feet. Don't know if a cold pack would do the same for hot feet.

But seriously--go see the doctor. It could be something you can treat, like neuropathy. Perhaps there are some lifestyle changes you could make that could fix things, but start with a diagnosis.

I'd definitely see a doctor about this. It might be a sign of something serious. It's true that the soles of the feet absorb things quickly. I don't know if aloe on the bottom of your feet would help with the hotness.

If you are diabetic, could be neuropathy...loss of feeling in the extremities...see a doctor...or try a foot soak to cleanse your system of heavy metals...
