Frost and Freeze...

Freezing temperatures made the leaves fall like rain.  I knew after our good rain, the cold would come but that doesn't mean I have to like it.  I did like the rain.
I ran outside in sock feet just after the sun topped the mountain.  I tried to capture the leaves falling like rain but I had little luck.  Sometimes you're just meant to witness the wonder of Mother Nature first hand.

First hand is truly always the best. You have a mountain? Wish I had a mountain. B

What are you doing up so early? I thought I was the only one who got up in the middle of the night. The leaves are falling off the trees at a rapid speed as if they are in a hurry. They must know something we don't know. xox

you did capture them, the second shot i can see them falling off the trees, these are both beautiful and almost as good as being there.

Totally beautiful picture. You did catch some of the leaves falling and the sunrise rising with the cows in the back ground. Very, very pretty.

The photos are beautiful Gail . . . never, ever quite like "first hand looks" though! . . . I agree . . .

I love the photo. All the right elements to express....brrrrrr.
Our neighbor has a tree, don't know what it is though, that does that. One minute the leaves are on the tree and the next, all at one time the leaves just say "toodles" and their all on the ground. To me Mother Nature and all of her tricks are so amazing.

I love the cold. If I could, I'd trade a good deal of our warm rain for your crisp and cold any day!! Beautiful fall colors!!

I am so glad you did catch the leaves falling. I love days like that when it starts happening then you know winter is on its way.

I love these photos. They remind me of an olde painting my Grandma had in her den. You did capture the leaves falling like rain. Now I am really jealous, you have a mountain too. YIKES :)

I see the falling leaves. I love these photos - the cows standing in the frost covered grass. This photo is framed nicely with the tree on the left.
