Attempting Poetry...

Playing with Toads
Moss grows northward
On rough bark of tree roots and logs
Moss grows northward
Celebrating the rain it grows
Thicker and greener in cool shade
Weeping shades of green while it crawls
Moss grows northward

I will have to observe this as I walk the wooded trails. Thanks and it is a very down to earth poem.

And with all the rain we've been getting, ALL the trees here will be covered with moss....on the north side of course!

Beautiful, my girl, as always!

I remember Dad telling us when we were small, "if you're ever lost in the woods, the moss grows on the north side of the trees"!
Thanks for the memory.
