White River

Wednesday we took a drive to Batesville and drove the back road along the beautiful White River.

It is hard to take a good picture out the window of a  moving car.

Getting closer to the lock and dam.  Ships use to come up this river and there were water locks so they could travel more easily.

I personally knew a guy who was test driving a boat and it would not start.  Randy went over this dam and survived.  Needless to say, he did not buy the boat.

That's a beautiful drive. I can't believe the guy lived a fall like that. No doubt the boat was destroyed. He must have had angel wings to cushion his fall.

Have a beautiful day!!!

Did the boat not survive?

The pictures are pretty with the wintry looking landscape.

Pretty drive, scarey story about your friends and the boat.
