Oh, do I know that feeling. Last summer was so so dry. We've had a surplus of rain here. finally stopped last Friday after two weeks. 16" here (or rather at my sister's 6 miles away).
I must appreciate our "dampness" more often! I do, though, remember one very hot dry year when we had sheep grazing in several farms in the district and the grass had turned brown. What a relief to get the rain. ..trouble is, it sometimes forgets to stop then!

Yay, Gail... you finally got your long awaited rain!! We had more rainstorms in NM last night... but today, sunny & in the 90's!
